Position Summary
The Virtual Telesitter is an opportunity for someone who wants to support at-risk patients through remote monitoring and observation. This role requires strong communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide continuous remote monitoring and observation of assigned patients
- Support patients with verbal redirection to avoid at-risk behaviors
- Partner with nursing staff in full collaboration
- Utilize independent decision-making skills within a supportive environment
- Manage appropriate supplemental documentation for observation periods
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Washington State Certified Nursing Assistant license (CNA)
- Current BLS certification
- Successful completion of monitoring equipment class within one (1) month of hire
- Previous patient care experience preferred
