Virtual Teacher

About the role

Imagine Learning is seeking state certified teachers in various subjects to join our team of year-round Virtual Teachers. Applications are currently being accepted.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional academic support through our student support model, providing student-centered monitoring, coaching, mentoring, and teaching.
• Assist students academically with concept comprehension synchronously and/or asynchronously via live chat, phone, email, and virtual conferencing technology.
• Grade student assignments and communicate with parents, school administration, and clients to ensure student success.

Requirements

• Teacher certification is a firm requirement.
• At least 3 years of teaching experience.
• Ability to obtain additional certifications, upon request.
• Willingness and ability to obtain a fingerprint clearance card within the first two weeks of employment.
• Technically proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and able to learn new technology and online systems quickly.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship building skills.
• Self-motivated, conscientious, and internally driven to achieve excellence.
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills.

Pay

Base pay is anticipated to be between $20.50 and $22.00 per hour, or $44,948 and $45,760 annually. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.

Schedule

Our Virtual Teachers work between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. local time Monday through Friday, with the opportunity to work year-round.
