Virtual Teacher

About the role

Imagine Learning is seeking state certified teachers in various subjects to join our team of year-round Virtual Teachers. Applications are currently being accepted.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional academic support through our student support model
• Assist students academically with concept comprehension synchronously and/or asynchronously via live chat, phone, email, and virtual conferencing technology
• Grade student assignments and communicate with parents, school administration, and clients to ensure student success

Requirements

• Teacher certification is a firm requirement
• At least 3 years of experience as a teacher
• Willingness and ability to obtain additional certifications, upon request
• Willingness and ability to obtain a fingerprint clearance card within the first two weeks of employment
• Technically proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and able to learn new technology and online systems quickly
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship building skills
• Self-motivated, conscientious, and internally driven to achieve excellence
• Detail oriented, with excellent organization and documentation skills
• Student focused, with the ability to empower learning across a diverse population
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage and meet deadlines for multiple simultaneous projects

Qualifications

Full-time and part-time positions available. Work schedule is between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. local time Monday through Friday, year-round. Compensation is anticipated to be between $20.50 and $22.00 per hour, or $44,948 and $45,760 annually. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Pay

Base pay is anticipated to be between $20.50 and $22.00 per hour, or $44,948 and $45,760 annually. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance.

Schedule

Our Virtual Teachers work between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. local time Monday through Friday, with the opportunity to work year-round.
