Virtual Quality Control Inspector

About the role

Perform Virtual Quality Control inspections by reviewing documents and photos uploaded into the Xometry Partner Portal and ERP. Work closely with Case Management, Partner Support, and MRB to manage rework efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Virtual Quality Control inspections following clearly written procedures
• Interact with DFM Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Control, Case Management, and Xometry Partners (Contract Manufacturers)
• Support Xometry Partners in managing rework through internal and external resources
• Work in a dynamic environment with a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience dimensionally inspecting manufactured products
• Minimum of 2 years working with General Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Able to read/interpret mechanical drawings, including assembly drawings
• Working knowledge and/or education, skills and experience associated with manufacturing processes
• Capable of interpreting and developing Dimensional Inspection Reports
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment

Qualifications/Skills

• Minimum ability to work part of the day in Eastern Time Zone (UTC - 4)
• Reliable internet connection
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiar with Salesforce, High QA, SolidWorks, ASANA, and Google Suite
• Previous remote work experience
