Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Planning, layout, and design of electrical installations
- Has a thorough knowledge of electrical systems, construction documents, and quality construction work practices
- Seeks ways to infuse quality and labor savings into overall layout efforts
- Works with the Project Coordinator via VDC Planner Production Supervisor’s appointment
- Reviews Construction Documents (Drawings and Specifications)
- Aids in the creation of detailed bill of materials for the Inwall Task only
- Plans and lays out work for modeler’s use
- Develops a 2D document plan based on specs, drawing notes, design drawings and all applicable codes for the modeler to create a digital model while instituting (QA) parameters
- Maintains regular contact with the Project Personnel and collaborates project requirements
- Aids in the creation of detailed bill of materials for the Inwall Task only
- Performs other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Licensed journeyman with 1-3 years of running work on construction jobsite
- Demonstrates a willingness to learn and efficiently use software such as Bluebeam and Microsoft 365
- Experience with team collaboration
- Demonstrates problem-solving ability and can work under rigorous schedules
- Demonstrates organizational and communication skills
- Proficient in reading and understanding of all forms of construction documents
- Able to interpret 2D plans and provide input to a 3D model
- Committed to continued learning and development
- Able to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
