Responsibilities

• Creation and modification of documents and drawings in 2D and 3D from conceptual design through successful installation for electrical and specialty system construction.
• Proficiency in using a PC and Microsoft 365 Suite, including Revit MEP, Navisworks, Bluebeam, BIM 360 Glue, G Suite, Microsoft Teams, etc.
• Comprehend, navigate, and utilize design, construction, and submittal documentation.
• Understand National Electric Code and apply that understanding to modeling.
• Layout racks and different systems, track changes, and understand their impact on projects.
• Create, modify, and maintain detailed 2D and 3D installation documentation.
• Locate and place APL points within the model and export data files required for field implementation.
• Model and maintain a clash-free environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and project stakeholders.
• Provide detailed input into task assignments and project tracking.
• Coordinate BIM clash.

Requirements

• Education: High school GED required, education in Architecture or BIM Technology preferred.
• Experience: Electrical and/or specialty systems field experience required and/or job-related experience in 2D and 3D modeling. 5 years field and/or technical experience combined, or 2-3 years of software experience preferred.
• Fundamental understanding of codes: NEC, BICSI, or NICET.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the required software is a plus (Revit MEP, Navisworks, Bluebeam, BIM 360 Glue, G Suite, Microsoft Teams, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills and interpersonal and communication skills.

Skills

• Proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft 365 Suite.
• Knowledgeable in Revit MEP, Navisworks, Bluebeam, BIM 360 Glue, G Suite, Microsoft Teams, etc.

Pay

$XX.XX - $XXX.XX per hour

Schedule

This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs. Overtime may be necessary to maintain project tracking and field deliverables.
