Virtual Class A CDL Instructor - Remote

About the role

We are hiring Virtual CDL A Instructors to deliver online classroom instruction and support students as they prepare for their CDL permit and theory requirements. This remote position allows experienced CDL A Drivers to train future truck drivers while enjoying career stability and growth opportunities across our network of 90 locations in 32 states.

Responsibilities

• Teach students CDL knowledge through virtual classroom instruction focused on permit preparation and driving theory.
• Provide step-by-step guidance on CDL topics, including safety regulations and FMCSA-based requirements.
• Ensure students are prepared for CDL permit testing standards.
• Promote safety and professionalism in all instruction.
• Track student attendance and participation, providing support when needed.
• Maintain proper documentation, including attendance and progress records.
• Provide clear communication and support to help students understand course material.

Requirements

• Must reside in the state you are applying for or have a residence secured for relocation.
• Valid CDL Class A license with a minimum of 24 months of verified tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Safe driving record and ability to pass DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening.
• Strong computer skills, including experience using platforms such as Salesforce, Zoom, Canvas, and Microsoft Outlook.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage a virtual classroom.
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple students in an online environment.

Pay

Hourly pay based on experience.
