Virtual Care Veterinarian (Remote)

About the role

Provide veterinary care remotely to animals in need across various locations including New Orleans, LA / Alexandria, LA / Baton Rouge, LA / Chattanooga, TN / Knoxville, TN / Memphis, TN / Casper, WY / Cheyenne, WY / Jackson, WY / Cody, WY / Louisiana / Wyoming / Nashville, TN / Tennessee / Murfreesboro, TN.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a variety of animal health issues remotely using telemedicine tools.
• Prescribe medications and recommend treatment plans based on consultations with clients.
• Communicate with clients via phone, video calls, and email to provide ongoing care and support.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments in the client's medical record.

Requirements

• Valid state license to practice veterinary medicine.
• Experience with remote veterinary care and telemedicine.
• Strong communication skills to interact with clients and patients.
• Proficient in using telemedicine software and tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine.
• Current DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances.
