Virtual Care Veterinarian (Remote)

About the role

Provide veterinary care remotely to animals in need across various locations including Jamestown, ND, Minneapolis, MN, Charleston, WV, Bismarck, ND, Dickinson, ND, Rochester, MN, Saint Cloud, MN, Huntington, WV, Morgantown, WV, Parkersburg, WV, Detroit, MI, Kalamazoo, MI, Lansing, MI, and Wilmington, DE.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a variety of animal health issues remotely using telemedicine tools.
• Prescribe medications and provide treatment plans based on consultations with clients.
• Document patient visits and treatments in electronic health records.
• Communicate with clients via phone, email, and video calls to discuss cases and treatment plans.

Requirements

• A valid state veterinary license.
• Experience in providing remote veterinary care.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in using telemedicine platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in veterinary practice.

Skills

• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology.
