Virtual Auto Damage Adjuster, Total Loss

What You'll Do

• C Conduct virtual auto damage assessments and supplements for total loss vehicles using customer or body shop-provided photos
• Communicate regularly and proactively with customers, providing timely status updates on their claims until resolution
• Complete detailed estimates and settle vehicles deemed total losses in accordance with company guidelines
• Affirmatively assess and calculate Actual Cash Value (ACV) for total loss vehicles using standardized valuation tools
• Negotiate with auto repair facilities and insurance providers to finalize total loss settlements
• Collaborate with underwriting teams to identify and report fraud indicators or risk concerns
• Maintain compliance with Tesla’s claims procedures and industry regulations for total loss documentation

What You'll Bring

• 1+ years’ experience as an auto damage adjuster with an insurance company or as a body shop writer
• Experience with major estimating software
• Effective organizational and communication skills
• Ability to complete work individually or in a team atmosphere
• Ability to travel to repair facilities for onsite inspections and other in-person tasks as needed
• Driver's license required
