Virginia Barbeque & Pizza Co. General Manager

Virginia BBQ & Pizza Co. is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant at our vibrant Massanutten Resort. About the role

As the General Manager, you will take full ownership of restaurant operations and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across dine-in, counter service, and takeout
• Drive guest satisfaction through quality, speed, and service excellence
• Hire, train, coach, and develop a team of 20+ associates
• Manage labor, scheduling, inventory, and cost controls
• Monitor financial performance (revenue, labor, and food cost)
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and Virginia ABC laws
• Resolve guest concerns and foster a culture of hospitality
• Collaborate with resort leadership to enhance the overall guest experience

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of restaurant management experience
• Proven leadership in a high-volume or quick-service environment
• Strong operational, financial, and team management skills
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
• Experience with POS systems and Microsoft Office
• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• Resort, hospitality, or tourism experience
• Experience with BBQ, fast-casual, or casual dining concepts
• Virginia ABC Manager Certification (or ability to obtain)
• ServSafe Manager Certification

Schedule

Full-Time (minimum of 40 hours/week)

• Must have open availability, including weekends and holidays
• Hours will vary based on business needs

Pay

Salary: $60,000
