VIP Travel Consultant - Amadeus

About the role

In this role, you will perform high-touch service excellence to key client travelers and be responsible for accurately and efficiently handling incoming requests via multiple channels (phone, email, etc.). You will be the primary point of contact for executive-level travelers and provide active travel consultation, including providing travel details and up-selling related products. Responsibilities

• Expertly use the appropriate BCD Travel tools and systems to complete requests
• Search and confirm travel reservations for the customer
• Have a strong understanding of a client travel policy and can appropriately guide and consistently provide consultation to the customer
• Fulfill all requests regarding necessary regulations (DOT, TSA, passports, visas, etc.)
• Excellent knowledge and application of travel supplier rules
• Maintain, actively communicate, and seek expansion of current knowledge of the state of the various travel industries supported

Requirements

• Experience in VIP travel
• Working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes
• Strong skills in GDS Amadeus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

Pay

The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of VIP Travel Consultant is between $50,000 and $65,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.

Schedule

This position requires flexibility regarding work schedules. Assignments may include day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts as determined by business needs. While the company will comply with applicable laws regarding reasonable accommodations, candidates should understand that preferred schedules and ongoing shift modifications may not be available.
