About the role

Meets and greets guests of the casino and ensures that a high level of customer service is maintained. Must be knowledgeable of and able to explain games offered by the casino as well as currently approved marketing promotions and programs. Must be knowledgeable of all hotel services and amenities. Provides comps to casino patrons according to approved internal controls. Performs duties at Agua Caliente Casino Resort and Spa.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of guest invitation lists for special events conducted by the Agua Caliente Casino and Spa Resort Casino.
• Convey terms of Player's Club Program and explain qualification requirements to prospective gaming guests.
• Track and prepare reports for the Director of Player Development on specific players and/or groups of players.
• Assist the Slot Department and/or Table Games Department at Agua Caliente Casino Resort and Spa with the operation of gaming tournaments.
• Identify and initiate relationships with new guests for possible enrollment into the Player's Club.
• Assist and make hotel reservations for guests.
• Assist and make reservations for guests for on- and off-property outlets (e.g., Spa, Restaurants & Golf).

Requirements

• Gaming experience required.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Strong customer service skills.
• Experience in the gaming industry preferred but not required.
• Excellent verbal skills, ability to be creative and innovative in guest satisfaction.
• Ability to resolve applicable guest concerns.
• Enjoys interfacing with people and has the ability to make each guest feel welcome.
• Service quality characteristics including courtesy, promptness, and professionalism.
• Analytical skills and good computer skills necessary.

Working Conditions

• Must be able to stand, move, and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 mile, climbing stairs, and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift.
• May be subjected to a smoke-filled environment.
• Typically housed in an office environment; noise level is usually moderate but will escalate when located in the casino environment.
• Must be able to grasp, bend, lift, and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis.
• Sufficient dexterity of hand to use office equipment including a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment, and multi-line telephone.
