About the Role

As a Music Teacher at Guitar Center, you will teach music lessons to students according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum. Your role involves increasing student count, ensuring each student continues to grow and develop, and fostering a culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs.
• Teach students utilizing the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum.
• Assist with customer service as needed to build and maintain long-term student relationships.
• Additional duties as assigned.
• Partner with students and families through frequent communication to build trusting relationships.
• Communicate student progress and goals with students and/or parents.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Music, Education, or a related field.
• Ability to teach the instrument you are proficient in, such as Drums, Guitar, Keyboard, etc.
• Skilled ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in the area you will be teaching.
• Embody a Customer First mindset to provide an excellent customer experience.
