Responsibilities

• Teach music lessons to students using the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum
• Work to increase student count and ensure each student grows and enjoys playing music
• Nurture a culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect within the store
• Partner with store staff to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs
• Communicate with students and parents about their progress and goals
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with students and families through regular communication and trust-building
• Provide excellent customer service as needed

Requirements

• Previous experience in Music, Education, or a related field
• Ability to teach the instrument you are proficient in, such as drums, guitar, keyboard, etc.
• Skilled ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in the area you will be teaching
