Violin instructor needed in Washington, DC

About the role

Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Violin. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the Washington, DC area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP!

Responsibilities

• Teach Violin lessons in students' homes, your own home, or your own studio/rehearsal space.
• Set your own schedule and lesson plans.
• Communicate regularly with the office.
• Be organized and punctual for all lessons.

Requirements

• Great with kids and love teaching.
• Must have either a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule.
• Ability to teach in-person or via webcam (most students prefer in-person).
• Experience with online platforms for scheduling and billing.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to different teaching methods.

Benefits

• Independent contractor status with pay ranging from $20-$30 per hour.
• Light workload due to Taylor Robinson Music handling all advertising, marketing, and SEO.
• No commute required for in-person lessons.
