Cello instructor needed in Las Vegas, NV

About the role

Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Cello. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the Las Vegas, NV area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP!

Responsibilities

• Teach cello lessons in students' homes, in your own home or studio/rehearsal space, or via webcam.
• Set your own schedule and lesson plans.
• Be organized and on time for all lessons.
• Communicate regularly with the office.

Requirements

• Great with kids and love teaching.
• Must have either a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule.
• Ability to teach in-person or via webcam.
• Experience with remote teaching tools if preferred.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple students and schedules.
• Knowledge of cello and teaching methods.

Pay

You would be paid on an independent contractor basis between $20-$30 per hour dependent on travel time, your experience/education, and your student retention rate.

COVID-19 Precautions

Though some students are okay to take lessons via webcam, most students are hoping to go to their instructor's studio or have their instructor come to their home. You must wear a mask, sanitize your hands, & practice social distancing when applicable.
