Your ability to process transactions accurately, answer guest questions, and coordinate smoothly with servers ensures every interaction is handled with professionalism and care. By balancing speed, accuracy, and service, you support both front-of-house operations and the elevated standards that define the Live! brand, ensuring every guest feels valued throughout their dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Greeting/welcoming and seating guests.
- Assign wait staff to service guests in their sections.
- Answering phone, greeting customers, and keeping track of seat availability in restaurants.
- Assisting wait/bar staff.
- Responsible for assisting with bussing and resetting tables.
- Responsible for cleaning host area and entrance to the restaurant.
- Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers.
- Cashier Duties Will Include:
- Operating cash register to cash out guests.
- Answering phone, greeting customers, and keeping track of seat availability in restaurants.
- Responsible for assisting with bussing and cleaning tables.
- Able to perform assigned duties in an interruptive environment under frequent time pressures.
- Work to ensure the safety and security of employees and customers.
- Verify the accuracy of all orders before they leave the counter or kitchen, ensuring items match the ticket, modifications are correct, and adjustments are made when needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills
- Ability to: Use cash register systems.
- Read and follow basic instructions.
- Use a telephone; Able to communicate in English fluently and in a professional manner.
- Knowledge of: Alcohol awareness.
- Sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of food.
- Strong work ethic.

- Basic math and computer skills.

Qualifications
- Must Haves:
- A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required.
- Customer service experience dealing directly with customers.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to bend, stoop and reach, while assisting guests.
- Use of stairs and elevators.
