Responsibilities
- Transform written course materials into engaging video modules that communicate information in a clear and visually effective way.
- Produce a course introduction video that establishes the overall theme, structure, and learning experience for viewers.
- Create motion graphics, animated text, screen recordings, and other visual elements to support instructional storytelling.
- Rework dense source content into concise video narratives that are easier for learners to follow and retain.
- Determine the most suitable creative approach for each video, including explainer-style visuals, kinetic typography, or other asset-light formats.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align deliverables with the desired tone, pacing, visual identity, and educational goals.
- Manage production schedules and editing timelines to ensure all video assets are completed on time and to quality standards.
- Capture or incorporate video footage as needed, using effective camera and editing techniques to strengthen final output.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience producing and editing video content, ideally for explainer, training, or e-learning environments.
- Strong proficiency in motion graphics and video post-production, with the ability to build compelling content from primarily written materials.
- Ability to translate complex or text-heavy information into simple, engaging visual stories.
- Solid command of video editing workflows, production planning, and deadline management.
- Self-directed work style with the ability to make creative decisions independently while incorporating team feedback.
- Portfolio showcasing video projects that rely on animation, text-driven storytelling, or limited source assets.
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Knowledge of industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro.
- Understanding of accessibility guidelines and best practices for creating inclusive video content.
