Video Monitoring Tech - Marshfield Medical Center - FT Straight Nights

Job Summary

The Monitor Tech provides support services. Some duties include:

• basic computer keyboarding skills
• tearing down and assembling patient charts as appropriate
• calling other departments to inform them of ordered tests and procedures as needed
• stocking supplies
• monitoring and interpreting patient heart rhythms and vital signs
• following set algorithm parameters that may raise alarms
• interpreting alarms and following through with appropriate communication as needed

Qualifications

• A high school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) is required.
• Knowledge of healthcare, anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and medical equipment/supplies is preferred.

Pay

$17.50 - $24.00 per hour

Plus a $1500 sign on bonus
