Video Maker
About the Company
Turning marketing into a market-domination weapon, iSpeedToLead created a new category — the marketplace for future customers. Businesses shop for leads as they shop for products in e-commerce: they can see key details before buying, with more transparency, control, and predictable outcomes. iSpeedToLead helps real estate wholesalers, investors, flippers, and increasingly agents buy motivated home-seller leads through a live lead marketplace built for speed, visibility, and performance.
About the Role
We’re looking for a video editor who understands dynamic editing, can build engaging videos with strong retention, and selects footage based on meaning — not just aesthetics. This person should be able to independently source materials such as stock footage, references, B-roll, memes, and AI-generated visuals, and turn them into compelling short-form content.
Responsibilities
- Edit videos with a focus on dynamic pacing, hooks, rhythm, and attention retention.
- Select and source footage (B-roll, stock, references, memes, AI-generated visuals) independently.
- Create compelling short-form content for platforms like Reels, Shorts, TikTok, and ads.
- Add captions/subtitles, basic motion graphics, zooms, transitions, and highlights.
- Ensure strong engagement in the first 3–5 seconds of each video.
- Deliver fast turnarounds and iterate based on feedback.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of dynamic editing: pacing, hooks, rhythm, and attention retention.
- Ability to edit based on story and meaning, not just music or visuals.
- Experience with short-form content (Reels, Shorts, TikTok, ads).
- Proficiency in adding captions, motion graphics, transitions, and effects.
- Ability to explain why specific visuals were chosen.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI tools for generating or sourcing visuals.
This Role Is Not for You If
- You focus only on aesthetics without understanding the message.
- You rely fully on provided materials and cannot source content independently.
- You do not understand the difference between basic and dynamic editing.
- You cannot explain why specific visuals were chosen.
- You produce slow-paced edits with weak engagement.
- You struggle with feedback or revisions.
