About The Company Owner is an innovative, AI-native platform designed to empower local business owners, with an initial focus on restaurants, to succeed in the digital landscape. The company is committed to streamlining the complex array of tools that small businesses typically utilize by creating an integrated system that manages everything from websites, online ordering, customer relationship management (CRM), point of sale (POS), and more. Owner's product philosophy centers on reducing the workload for business owners by automating demand generation, customer conversion, and operational management, thereby enabling owners to focus on what they do best. The system is designed to feel like having a dedicated team of operators, engineers, and marketers working on your behalf, continuously driving growth and efficiency. Founded with a vision to help independent restaurants flourish online, Owner aims to extend its solutions to various local businesses facing similar challenges. The company recognizes the threat posed by large technology corporations that are taking away customers and profits from small businesses, making it harder for them to survive. Since its inception in 2020, Owner has achieved significant traction, generating tens of millions in revenue and processing over a billion dollars in online orders. Its platforms are used by one in five Americans, and it has helped more than 20,000 restaurant owners save nearly $200 million in fees. With a talented team drawn from leading SMB software companies such as Shopify, HubSpot, DoorDash, and Stripe, Owner is poised for rapid scaling as it continues to innovate and expand its reach. The company operates as a remote-first organization with headquarters in San Francisco and a sales hub in Toronto.
