Video Editor, Sr.
About The Role
The Senior Video Editor will be a key contributor within Owner’s growing Media team, responsible for producing high-quality internal and external video content that supports various functions across the company. This role involves end-to-end video editing, including raw footage processing, color correction, sound design, motion graphics, and integration of B-roll footage. The ideal candidate will craft engaging stories that resonate with internal teams, partners, and external audiences, helping to elevate Owner’s brand voice and internal communications.
This role involves working closely with the Chief of Staff, VP of Media, platform managers, external production partners, and cross-functional teams such as Sales, Product, and Recruiting. Your work will include creating sales enablement videos, product launch announcements, customer case studies, recruiting reels, training content, and executive presentations. The role offers an opportunity to work in diverse environments—filming real restaurants, capturing authentic stories, and showcasing real data—making each project a unique creative playground.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years of professional video editing experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling and visual craftsmanship
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Experience editing internal, corporate, or B2B video content
- Expertise in color correction, audio enhancement, and sound design
- Knowledge of motion graphics, kinetic typography, and basic animation techniques
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong communication skills to interpret creative direction and provide feedback
- Curiosity about AI-driven tools, automation, and new media workflows
Responsibilities
- Produce multiple long-form internal video projects monthly, managing all aspects from raw footage to final delivery
- Own the editing process, including color grading, sound design, motion graphics, and B-roll integration
- Ensure videos are optimized for clarity, engagement, and storytelling effectiveness
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and templates to streamline workflows and facilitate team scaling
- Review and QC edits from external vendors and contractors, providing revision notes to meet brand standards
- Analyze video performance metrics such as views, watch time, and engagement to inform future content strategies
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistency and quality across all video assets
- Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and tools to enhance video quality
