Video Editor & Producer

About The Role

This position is designed to support RA’s growth through high-quality video content creation. Based in New York City, the Video Editor & Producer will play a vital role in enhancing RA’s North American storytelling by developing engaging video ideas, assisting in content production, and editing multimedia materials. Working closely with the Content Production Lead, Lead Producer/Director, Reviews & Curation Lead, North American Editor, GM North America, and other key stakeholders, the successful candidate will contribute to projects that align with RA’s global and North American content strategies.

The role involves producing short and long-form videos, collaborating across multiple teams and time zones, and helping to reinvigorate RA’s visual storytelling to resonate with electronic music fans across North America.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience publishing on YouTube, with additional experience on Instagram and TikTok
• Proven track record as a multimedia storyteller with a portfolio of cross-platform content
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite, including Premiere Pro and Photoshop
• Experience with Figma, CapCut, and in-app publishing tools
• Strong editing, shooting, and content production skills
• Able to produce and edit quickly without compromising quality
• Comfort with presenting short-form content on camera (preferred but not essential)
• Excellent organizational and collaborative skills, with capacity to work across time zones
• Self-starter with the ability to execute briefs independently
• Deep curiosity and knowledge of electronic music and its diverse North American scenes
• Motion graphics experience (helpful but not essential)

Responsibilities

• Aid in the production of RA’s video content across various project scales and formats within the Film and Content teams
• Produce and edit videos efficiently, maintaining high standards of craft and storytelling clarity
• Collaborate with the Content Production Lead and Lead Producer/Director to prioritize and deliver projects on schedule
• Bring innovation, speed, and creativity to RA’s mid- and long-form video content on YouTube
• Cook up new ideas for North American storytelling on a weekly basis
• Work alongside the Reviews & Curation Lead to refresh and elevate the visual presentation of curated content for global electronic music fans
• Develop a multimedia portfolio demonstrating cross-platform content creation, editing, and videography skills
