About the role

We are seeking a talented and innovative Full-Time Video Editor & Motion Designer to join our dynamic team. This role requires a professional with a strong foundation in traditional craft, coupled with a passion for experimenting with AI and emerging tools to revolutionize video and motion design workflows. As a core member of our creative team, you will be responsible for editing and animating a wide array of project types, primarily focusing on 16:9 formats for OTT and broadcast platforms. The ideal candidate will be someone who not only excels in creating polished, engaging content but also actively explores how new technologies can improve efficiency and creativity. You will work closely with our Creative Director, Head of Production, art directors, and copywriters to deliver compelling visual stories that meet strategic objectives and brand standards.

Responsibilities

  • Edit and assemble video content across multiple formats, including OTT, broadcast, digital advertising, social media, and long-form projects, from inception through final delivery
  • Design and produce motion graphics that communicate clearly whether audio is on or off, ensuring accessibility and visual impact
  • Ensure all deliverables are on-brand, strategically aligned, and technically compliant with specifications
  • Collaborate closely with the Creative Director, Head of Production, art directors, and copywriters throughout the creative process to ensure cohesive and compelling outputs
  • Present work-in-progress cuts and final assets to internal teams and clients, incorporating feedback effectively
  • Maintain organized project files and adhere to delivery standards and deadlines
  • Bring innovative AI tools and workflow strategies into the creative process, sharing insights and experimenting with new solutions to enhance productivity and quality
  • Contribute to the development and evolution of internal video and motion design practices as the team and technology landscape grow
  • Work remotely with excellent communication skills, proactively managing tasks and collaborating effectively with team members and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in video editing and motion design within an agency, studio, or similar creative environment
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and After Effects
  • Experience collaborating in Figma for design and layout tasks
  • Strong understanding of design fundamentals, including typography, layout, composition, and motion principles
  • Proven ability to produce assets across various formats such as OTT/broadcast spots, digital advertising, social media, and long-form content
  • Demonstrated skill in creating videos that communicate effectively in both sound-on and sound-off environments, utilizing captions, kinetic typography, and visual storytelling techniques
  • Experience integrating AI-powered tools into video and motion workflows, with the ability to articulate what’s working and how it enhances productivity
  • Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail throughout the production process
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and maintaining high-quality output
  • Strong communication skills, capable of presenting work-in-progress and final assets to internal teams and clients
  • Willingness to stay current on industry trends in video, motion, and AI-powered creative tools, actively testing and adopting new technologies
  • Available to work during standard PST business hours
