About the role

Freelance trial period with potential to become permanent. Position requires face-to-face video calls.

Requirements

• Must live in US, Canada, or Europe
• 18+ only
• Resume or portfolio required (paste link below)
• Real content experience required—must show actual work
• Understanding YouTube (huge for b-roll; stock footage is unacceptable)

• Can edit like me and also adapt to examples I give you
• Understanding of visual storytelling and pacing
• Genuinely excited to create and experiment (this matters a lot)
• Willingness to learn and grow as a creator
• Want to grow the channel with me, learn fast, and maybe even do your own thing eventually

About the work

Our ultimate goal is to balance quality with turnaround time. If you strike a solid balance and I don't need to hire more editors, the work will keep on coming. We're aiming for 2 to 3 videos a week.

Pay

• Pay per video, based on skill and how polished the edit is (the more time I don't have to edit/fix anything, the more you get paid)
• Starting pay: $250 for the Trial Video (if we are a good fit, the pay will increase)
