Video Editor

About the Role

Deliverance Charities is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to help produce engaging video content across our digital platforms. This is a remote volunteer position that supports our mission by creating videos that educate, inspire, and promote our programs and fundraising efforts.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos for:
  • Instagram Reels
  • YouTube Shorts
  • TikTok
• Edit long-form videos for:
  • Poems and spoken word videos
  • Blog-to-video content
  • Educational and inspirational videos
• Add captions, transitions, music, graphics, and simple motion effects.
• Maintain consistent branding across all video content.
• Organize video files and meet agreed-upon deadlines.
• Work closely with the Content Strategy and Digital Marketing teams.

Work Environment

Our team is collaborative and supportive, using tools like Google Gmail, Chat, and Space to stay connected and work efficiently.

Schedule

• Self-determined schedule (weekends are preferred)
• At least 5 hours a week; anything more is appreciated
• Monthly updates and check-ins submitted via email or chat
