Video Control Room Intern, Fall 2026 (10 weeks, 24 hours per week)

Program Details

• Program Dates: September 14, 2026 – November 20, 2026 (10 weeks)
• Schedule: 24 hours per week
• Location: On-site at our New York City headquarters
• Compensation: $20.00 per hour
• Note: College Credit: Eligible where applicable through your institution

What You’ll Do

• Aid in all aspects of studio operations, including set creation, setup, and breakdown.
• Assist with teleprompter operation during studio recordings.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth execution of video shoots.
• Assist with both field and office production tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Current juniors and seniors pursuing a BA, MA students, and recent graduates who completed their degree within the past year.
• Interest in working in online news environment.
• Knowledge of control room and studio operations, with a focus on technical direction and audio.
• Ideal simple editing skills.
• Must enjoy working collaboratively and accurately; attention to detail a must.

Base Pay Range: $20/hr - $20/hr
