Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Handle criminal case files at various stages of completeness.
  • Prepare and send Early Termination Notices to victims and Assistant/Deputy District Attorneys (as required by Act 44).
  • Manage State Parole Notifications to victims and Assistant/Deputy District Attorneys.
  • Distribute voicemail messages and manage the Unit's voicemail line.
  • Update and maintain victim contact and database information.
  • Re-mail necessary notifications as required.
  • Attend mandatory trainings as required by P.C.C.D.
  • Maintain all required clearances for employment, including a criminal record check and Act 33 - Child Abuse clearance.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of the criminal justice/legal system, with experience in working with victims/witnesses of crime, preferred.
  • Experience with word processing and computer software, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and related office systems.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently on multiple tasks.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
