Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Handle criminal case files at various stages of completeness.
- Prepare and send Early Termination Notices to victims and Assistant/Deputy District Attorneys (as required by Act 44).
- Manage State Parole Notifications to victims and Assistant/Deputy District Attorneys.
- Distribute voicemail messages and manage the Unit's voicemail line.
- Update and maintain victim contact and database information.
- Re-mail necessary notifications as required.
- Attend mandatory trainings as required by P.C.C.D.
- Maintain all required clearances for employment, including a criminal record check and Act 33 - Child Abuse clearance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of the criminal justice/legal system, with experience in working with victims/witnesses of crime, preferred.
- Experience with word processing and computer software, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and related office systems.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently on multiple tasks.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
