VICE PRINCIPAL (Secondary Level)

12-month position at the secondary level (grades 9-12).

Job Goal

To establish an educational climate that strives to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of the school community through a program to develop positive student behavior; to provide and maintain quality instruction and related services; to supervise professional staff; to develop a meaningful and appropriate instructional program; to work with staff on curriculum development and evaluation; and to work cooperatively with the principal in all phases of the total educational program.

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey Principal Certificate.
• At least five years of successful teaching experience.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in the areas of curriculum development, program evaluation, staff development, and school improvement.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated skills to use the computer as a management tool.
• Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
