Vice President, Re:Build Thermoplastic Composites
About the role
We seek an experienced leader familiar with commercializing manufacturing offerings or services and bringing new manufacturing technologies to market – identifying the market opportunities, framing the value proposition, directing R&D to support the most meaningful opportunities, and leading the coordinated efforts of commercial, engineering, manufacturing and other support functions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the expansion of Re:Build’s thermoplastic composites business in partnership with Re:Build functional teams by identifying target adoption opportunities, developing demonstration products and supporting processes, then executing commercial strategies to demonstrate capability and expand our customer base with lasting engagements.
- Driven by targeted market opportunities, develop investment strategies to build capabilities, demonstrate market applicability, and support scaling of operations.
- Shape and implement business expansion strategies and plans for both the short and long term to grow the business by 10x to $100MM and beyond.
- Manage the P&L. Develop budgets, financial plans, and performance metrics, giving regular updates on progress and critical path items. Own ongoing business-wide performance to drive improvement in revenue, operating performance, and financial margins.
- Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing business team with a strong, positive operating culture.
- Develop and implement effective communication and engagement strategies to ensure teams are informed, aligned, and motivated to accomplish objectives.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence aligned with the Principles of The Re:Build Way.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field required; advanced degree (MBA, MS Engineering) preferred.
- Track record as a transformational leader – successfully shaping strategy and leveraging market insights, technology and process development, targeted investments, and customer engagements to drive growth.
- 10 years of progressive leadership in manufacturing industries with commercial experience preferred.
- Prior P&L ownership, with strong strategic and financial acumen and demonstrated ability to drive growth through market understanding, commercial engagement, new product adoption, and operational excellence.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams, identifying and entering new markets, driving top-line growth, and scaling organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a highly collaborative environment, successfully building relationships and leveraging shared resources and capabilities to move the business forward.
- Strong market intelligence, analytical, financial modeling, and creative problem-solving skills.
- High emotional intelligence and strong communication skills, with the ability to influence, foster trust, coach leaders, and cultivate a culture of accountability.
- Ability to lead with clarity in fast-paced, highly technical, and entrepreneurial environments.
- Willingness to travel as needed.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $237,061 – $395,102 per year. This range represents the Company’s good faith estimate of the base compensation for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location.
