The Vice President of Purchasing is responsible for the daily management of the HMH Network Purchasing Program.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team across the network to implement PeopleSoft and GHX to all Legacy Meridian sites as PeopleSoft is rolled out in preparation for Epic.
• Provide training and follow up to new users to ensure a thorough understanding of the new system is essential to all future ordering and maintenance of supplies.
• Provide training on the specific tools for GHX.
• Administer the HMH centralized purchasing program and assure order processing is accomplished within 24 to 48 hours after requisitions are generated.
• Manage the Purchasing tasks related to the HMH inventory.
• Conduct market research and coordinate product and equipment evaluations including the preparation of financial analysis.
• Prepare Request for Proposal, bid summaries including HMH Group Purchasing Options, and vendor performance analysis to provide a basis for contract decisions.
• Assist in the negotiating process.
• Coordinate the purchase of capital goods within HMH guidelines.
• Coordinate stat order requirements.
• Coordinate the resolution of receipt and invoice variances within the established timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Purchasing Department preferably in the Health Care environment.
• 5 years supervisory/management experience.

Pay

Minimum rate of $237,889.60 Annually
