About the role
Vice President, Public Relations at Small Girls PR is sought after to inspire and guide day-to-day creativity and strategy for brands in the general consumer lifestyle spaces. Responsibilities include leading media strategy, brand messaging, high-stakes communications, and delivering innovative campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Drive client relationships and lead junior staff to deliver high-quality work
- Act as the strategic lead, overseeing media strategy, brand messaging, and high-stakes communications
- Oversee day-to-day work and the long-term professional development of 1-2 direct reports
- Lead new business efforts, representing the brands you are passionate about taking on and developing proposals and concepts
- Stay ahead of industry trends and develop original campaign ideas, ownable moment ideation, and strategic insights
Requirements
- 10-13+ years of experience in media relations, communications, or public relations
- A track record of client leadership and trusted relationships with journalists
- Tapped into trends, communities, and cultural moments before they become mainstream
- Known for dreaming up stunts or out-of-the-box PR ideas
- Organizational strength, planning, delegating, and prioritizing effectively
- Scrupulous and adaptable, thriving in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities
- Ability to make stories compelling for various audiences
- Experience guiding teams to success and meeting client KPIs and goals

Pay
$146,500 - $156,500, inclusive of bonus
Schedule
Hybrid schedule, working two days a week in the office
