Vice President, Product Management
About the role
CrowdStrike at its core is a platform company and the endpoint protection platform organization is responsible for sensor, cloud, UI technologies and a UX design language. Everything we build is designed to infinitely scale, the endpoint protection platform is used internally by Product Groups to build their security products but we also release products direct to customers such as: Falcon Fusion, ThreatGraph, FDR and APIs. Over time we intend to release more of our endpoint protection platform to partners and customers to ultimately deliver an App Platform where third-party security products are running completely on the CrowdStrike endpoint protection platform. As the cybersecurity landscape evolves, our endpoint protection platform must stay ahead of the most sophisticated adversaries — integrating AI-native capabilities and extending our industry-leading endpoint protection across the full extended detection and response (XDR) ecosystem.

Represent the endpoint protection platform's strategic role in the broader XDR ecosystem to customers, partners, and analysts — building executive-level relationships that inform roadmap and accelerate market leadershipExecutive Leadership & Organizational Development
Lead, develop, and grow a high-performing organization of senior product managers and product directors — setting the executive standard for technical depth, customer empathy, strategic thinking, and execution rigor
Build and sustain a product management culture defined by accountability, innovation, and customer obsession — attracting and retaining world-class product talent
Own executive-level cross-functional alignment — partnering with C-suite and senior leaders across Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Threat Intelligence, and Customer Success to drive endpoint protection platform strategy and execution
Partner with Product Marketing at the executive level to define endpoint protection platform positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy — ensuring the endpoint protection platform's value is clearly articulated to customers, analysts, and the market
Own annual budget planning and resource allocation for the endpoint protection platform product organization
What You'll Need
- 18+ years in Product Management with a demonstrated track record of executive product leadership at scale in enterprise software or cybersecurity — with a minimum of 10+ years focused specifically on endpoint security, EPP, or EDR/XDR product domains
- Endpoint Protection (EPP) experience is required — candidates must have direct, hands-on executive product ownership of a commercially shipped EPP product, with deep strategic and technical understanding across:
- Prevention engines — signature-based, ML-based, and behavioral prevention at scale across Windows, macOS, and Linux
- Kernel and user space telemetry — sensor architecture, kernel driver design, and the tradeoffs between telemetry fidelity and system performance
- Sensor lifecycle management — sensor deployment, versioning, update rings, and compatibility management at millions-of-endpoint scale
- Anti-tamper and self-protection mechanisms — how EPP products defend themselves against adversarial interference at the kernel level
- Behavioral detection engineering — how detection logic is built, tuned, and validated against real-world adversary TTPs with MITRE ATT&CK alignment
- Telemetry query at scale — product strategy for security data lakes or event streaming architectures powering EDR search and hunting
- Automated response and SOAR integration — response action frameworks including process kill, host isolation, remediation, and third-party SOAR integration
- Cross-domain XDR correlation — multi-signal detection strategies spanning endpoint, identity, cloud workload, and network telemetry
- Deep adversary landscape fluency — strategic understanding of how modern threat actors target endpoints, including LOTL techniques, fileless malware, supply chain attack vectors, ransomware kill chain mechanics, and nation-state and eCrime tradecraft at a level sufficient to drive detection and prevention roadmap prioritization
- Demonstrated AI/ML product strategy experience in the endpoint security context — defining AI-native detection models, managing false positive vs. coverage tradeoffs, and bringing ML-powered prevention and behavioral analytics to market at scale across endpoint environments
- Deep technical fluency in cloud and distributed systems architecture — able to engage credibly with senior engineering leadership on sensor-to-cloud telemetry pipelines
- Executive presence and communication skills — proven ability to influence at the board and C-suite level, align cross-functional stakeholders, and translate deeply technical endpoint concepts into compelling strategic narratives for CISOs, analysts, and investors
- Proven ability to build and scale high-performing product organizations — track record of attracting world-class talent and developing future product leaders within endpoint and security-focused domains
- Strong quantitative and business analysis skills — experience owning the KPIs and metrics that measure platform health, detection efficacy, and customer outcomes — including prevention rates, MTTD, MTTR, and sensor fleet health at scale
- Track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment — balancing long-term strategic vision with near-term execution discipline across large, distributed organizations spanning multiple time zones and geographies
Bonus Points
- Prior executive product leadership at a top-tier cybersecurity company with direct product line ownership of shipped EPP, EDR, or XDR product — with measurable market share, customer growth, or competitive displacement outcomes attributable to your product leadership
- Deep competitive intelligence fluency in the endpoint protection landscape — including architectural and capability-level understanding of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, SentinelOne, Palo Alto Cortex XDR, and emerging XDR challengers — sufficient to drive differentiated roadmap decisions, not just market positioning
- Hands-on background in threat intelligence, incident response, or red team/adversary simulation — providing firsthand strategic understanding of how endpoint protection platforms are stress-tested by sophisticated adversaries and how that informs detection and prevention roadmap priorities
- Experience leading endpoint product strategy through platform-level disruption events — such as OS-level security changes and hardware-enforced security transitions, or major shifts in endpoint form factor (VDI, containerized workloads, ARM-based endpoints)
- Experience building and scaling a third-party security app ecosystem or security marketplace
