Job Summary

The Director of Data & Analytics at Jackpot.com is responsible for driving data-driven decision making across the organization. This role will lead a team focused on improving operational efficiency, enhancing customer experiences, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

About the Role

As the Director of Data & Analytics, you will be instrumental in shaping the company's data strategy and analytics capabilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven initiatives that support business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute data strategies that align with business goals
  • Lead a team of data analysts and engineers to deliver actionable insights
  • Implement advanced analytics techniques such as causal reasoning and diagnostics, A/B testing, and data engineering pipelines
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and machine learning

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Proven experience leading data analytics teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with data warehousing technologies like Fivetran and Airflow
  • Strong understanding of statistical analysis and data modeling techniques
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in data analytics or a related field
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
  • Knowledge of data governance and privacy regulations
  • Experience with big data platforms like AWS or Google Cloud

Salary range: $120,000 - $180,000 annually
