Job Summary
The Director of Data & Analytics at Jackpot.com is responsible for driving data-driven decision making across the organization. This role will lead a team focused on improving operational efficiency, enhancing customer experiences, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
About the Role
As the Director of Data & Analytics, you will be instrumental in shaping the company's data strategy and analytics capabilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven initiatives that support business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute data strategies that align with business goals
- Lead a team of data analysts and engineers to deliver actionable insights
- Implement advanced analytics techniques such as causal reasoning and diagnostics, A/B testing, and data engineering pipelines
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions
- Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and machine learning
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Proven experience leading data analytics teams in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with data warehousing technologies like Fivetran and Airflow
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis and data modeling techniques
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience in data analytics or a related field
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
- Knowledge of data governance and privacy regulations
- Experience with big data platforms like AWS or Google Cloud
