Vice President, Portfolio Manager - Credit Evergreen

About the role

The Vice President, Portfolio Manager will join HarbourVest's Evergreen Solutions team, contributing to the firm's mission of becoming the leading multi-manager provider of private markets focused evergreen solutions for wealth and institutional investors globally.

Responsibilities

• Execute credit investment strategy and support allocation between credit opportunities
• Monitor investments and manage liquidity for all Credit Evergreen funds
• Present recommendations to the Evergreen Portfolio Management Committee (EPMC)
• Support fundraising meetings and provide structured market outlook analysis
• Manage portfolio stress testing and ensure appropriate scenario analysis
• Work with legal, regulatory, and compliance colleagues to fulfill reporting requirements
• Maintain relationships with the broader Evergreen Fund Management, Evergreen Solutions, and Wealth team

Requirements

• At least 6 years of private credit investing experience
• Track record in designing and implementing targeted portfolio construction
• Experience with evergreen products and regulations
• IT capability to interact with colleagues in tool design and implementation

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts (B.A), Bachelor of Science (B.S), or equivalent experience
• Masters in Business Administration preferred

Pay

Base Salary Range: $175,000.00 - $200,000.00
