Vice President, POM Product Owner
About the role
As part of BNY Pershing’s Wealth Services Administration Group, you will help deliver a seamless, self-service experience that allows firm administrators to tailor the platform to their needs in real-time, without waiting on implementation teams or customer support. This role is located in Jersey City, NJ.
Responsibilities
- Simplify complex technical functionality into a seamless user experience
- Drive vision for platform and user interface product to support both internal and external clients
- Define and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap across party and account/investor reference data domains
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-impact solutions aligned with business objectives and client needs
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog, gathering requirements from stakeholders and partnering closely with development teams to ensure high-quality delivery
- Develop clear and concise product briefs that articulate feature goals, requirements, and value
- Make informed trade-off decisions to advance current work, escalating risks or issues to leadership when appropriate
- Establish and track key product metrics, defining measurement and instrumentation to evaluate post-launch performance
Requirements
- Proactive, “get it done” approach with the ability to overcome obstacles and maintain focus on goals
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred
