Vice President, People

Location: Sunnyvale, CA – US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Compensation: $236,000 – $339,000 annually.

This role will advance people and talent initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and employee experience. You will collaborate with business leaders, HR partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to align workforce priorities with business objectives. The position offers the opportunity to influence culture, talent strategy, and scalable people operations within a life sciences environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing People Business Partner team
• Set the vision and priorities for the People Partner organization
• Coach HR leaders to enhance organizational capabilities
• Partner with executives on organizational design and effectiveness
• Provide strategic counsel on workforce planning and talent risks
• Oversee Employee Relations, ensuring compliance and fairness
• Lead talent management programs aligned with business strategy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in HR, Business Admin, Organizational Psychology, or related; Master's preferred
• 20+ years of HR experience with 10+ in senior executive roles
• Expertise in talent management, organizational effectiveness, and employee relations
• Successful coaching of senior executives and leading HR teams
• Strong understanding of employment law and HR compliance
