About the role
This Vice President role focuses on the oversight of a partnership marketing client in the prediction market category. The position requires deep prediction market expertise, leadership in management and organization, strategic planning, idea generation, and cross-functional team implementation.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary client-facing leader, maintaining an in-depth understanding of clients’ businesses and forging partnerships with client-side counterparts.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of clients and their sports and entertainment sponsorship portfolios/activations.
- Ensure clients receive superior service, strategic thinking, and clear communication from Allied Sports, keeping strategy, insights, planning, programs, tactics, executions, budgets, schedules, and documentation on track.
- Maintain account health and drive account growth.
- Support division business growth and goal achievement.
- Conceive, develop, and implement marketing initiatives—including customized programs, events, and promotions—that build client brand and drive business growth.
- Assist in creating and implementing materials to support marketing initiatives, including preparing presentations and collateral for clients, agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Support tactical implementation and coordination of sponsorships at events where agency staff is needed, including on-site presence, event execution, hospitality management, ticket distribution, guest relations, and client relationship management.
- Manage the measurement and return on investment process for all programs.
- Oversee the creation of implementation and tracking materials to support programs and initiatives.
- Manage client-vendor relationships and coordinate activation deliverables on behalf of the client.
- Help manage program and event-related budgets.
Requirements
- 15+ years of agency or client-based sponsorship account management experience, with expertise in sponsorship marketing, event marketing, and/or sponsor servicing.
- Proven experience developing and implementing marketing strategies for clients or companies.
- Strong day-to-day relationship management skills with clients, agencies, and vendors.
- Experience selling in “Big Ideas,” with at least one successful implementation example.
- Sponsorship contract negotiation skills.
- Practical experience with on-site event marketing operations and logistics.
- Experience working with advertising, PR, and/or promotional agencies.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively, and to communicate ideas proactively, efficiently, and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills, both independently and in group settings.
- Excellent time management, written, and oral communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a positive and helpful attitude.
- Willingness to travel 30% of the time.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
Pay
Base salary range in New York, NY: $170,000–$200,000 annually. Actual salary depends on factors such as market dynamics, location, experience, specialized skills, and level of responsibility. Allied Sports expects to hire near the middle of the range, with consideration for the higher end only in exceptional circumstances.
Schedule
Hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office (Tuesday–Thursday) and 2 days remote (Monday & Friday) weekly, based in New York, NY.
