Vice President Originator Commercial Real Estate Capital Markets

About the role

Max Benjamin Partners ("MBP") is seeking an ambitious Commercial Real Estate Capital Markets Originator to join our growing San Diego office.

We're looking for entrepreneurial professionals with experience in commercial real estate lending, banking, debt placement, capital markets, or brokerage who want greater upside, autonomy, and long-term career growth than traditional firms provide.

Job Duties

• Originate commercial real estate debt and equity opportunities
• Build and maintain borrower, broker, and referral relationships
• Analyze financing opportunities and structure capital solutions
• Underwrite transactions and prepare lender submissions
• Manage transactions from initial engagement through closing
• Cook up with borrowers, lenders, attorneys, title and escrow companies, and third-party vendors
• Maintain an organized transaction pipeline while delivering exceptional client service

Qualifications

• Required:
• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years of experience in commercial real estate finance, capital markets, commercial banking, lending, brokerage, or a related field
• Strong analytical and underwriting skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• PREFERRED:
• Commercial loan origination experience
• Existing industry relationships
• Title or escrow experience

Compensation & Growth

This is a commission-based opportunity with a highly competitive split structure and unlimited earning potential. Actual earnings are performance-driven and vary based on production, existing relationships, and transaction volume. Top producers have unlimited earning potential.

Compensation
