Vice President Operations

About the Role

The Vice President is responsible for operational efficiency across the company to ensure that budget targets are met and that operations are executed in an efficient and profitable manner. The VP must be tech and systems savvy, with strong financial acumen, data analysis skills, and a focus on driving metrics. The role involves improving operating margins through collaboration with team members and executive leadership while ensuring tools and support are in place to meet near- and long-term objectives. The VP must balance multiple priorities, addressing immediate concerns while identifying future opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational oversight, including financial planning, personnel management, company asset utilization, and collaboration with executive leadership to ensure overall profitability.
• Lead the assessment, development, and execution of a full-scale operations and customer support strategy; formulate and implement a strategic plan.
• Provide professional management and leadership to the company, including mentoring and developing key senior management members and instilling best practices from operational and sales perspectives.
• Assess current SOPs, manage by exception, and identify key opportunities for improvement; work closely with the executive leadership team to address strategic, tactical, and operating issues.
• Manage and report on key operational processes, financial budgets, and performance indicators.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to develop an annual business plan and provide long-term business growth and expansion forecasting.
• Partner with the Sales team to grow top-line revenue by implementing, maintaining, and expanding customer relationships.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of proven leadership experience.
• Prior experience in a director-level role or above.
• Experience managing and developing both onsite and remote teams.
• A strategic thinker with strong analytical and technological skills to quickly understand concepts/needs and develop, execute, and manage programs, metrics, and solutions.
• Proven track record of leading an organization through significant, profitable growth for a sustained period.
• Strong operational and financial acumen, with measurable success in developing, implementing, and executing plans.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
