Vice President Operations

About the role

This Vice President of Operations position sits within the Technology sector and focuses on strategy and growth for the data center business at DHL Supply Chain. The role is pivotal in driving commercial results and operational excellence, supporting an ambitious growth agenda through pipeline strategy development, new business pursuits, and deal architecture. The incumbent will translate organizational strategies so operations teams can understand, align with, and be motivated by the company’s direction. DHL Supply Chain North America operates over 500 facilities, more than 150 million square feet of operational space, and employs over 50,000 associates.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the executive leadership group in setting the business’s vision, strategy, and agenda.
• Oversee operations across a wide geography and diverse customer base, managing a vast team of leaders.
• Develop and implement a regional strategy for customer accounts within the assigned geography.
• Ensure a safe, productive, and results‑driven environment through effective management and a commitment to excellence.
• Navigate an ever‑changing marketplace with multiple priorities, serving diverse customers, vendors, managers, and associates.
• Accountable for negotiations, contract adherence, and successful execution of Business Continuity Agreements (BCAs).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (required).
• 10+ years of management experience (required).
• 7+ years of distribution/warehousing experience (required).
• Third‑party logistics experience (preferred).
