Vice President Operations
About the role
The Company is a global market leader in industrial equipment and engineering solutions, headquartered in Denmark. This is a unique opportunity to join a well-established international organization that combines entrepreneurial spirit with long-term stability. Currently a small but growing North American organization, the company is now looking for a senior operations leader to help scale the business, build the team, and establish the operational foundation required for future growth.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the CEO and the EVP of Sales to support the continued growth and development of the U.S. organization.
- Build scalable processes, workflows, and accountability across Engineering, Service, Administration, and supporting business functions.
- Improve communication, visibility, and operational execution across the organization.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement practical solutions that support growth and operational efficiency.
- Develop operational metrics, reporting structures, and management tools that support informed decision-making.
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members and leaders across the organization.
- Help build the infrastructure required to support future geographic expansion and additional locations.
- Serve as a trusted resource and escalation point for operational challenges.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues and stakeholders in both North America and Europe.
Requirements
- Experience building scalable processes, workflows, and accountability across Engineering, Service, Administration, and supporting business functions.
- Ability to gain credibility quickly, build strong relationships, and create commitment around new ways of working.
- Comfortable working within a collaborative international organization where influence, trust, and partnership are often more important than hierarchy.
- An organized and systematic approach to scheduling tasks and managing a team, to achieve high-quality on-time results.
Qualifications
- Technical expertise is appreciated but is not the primary success factor for this role. The ability to create structure, improve execution, and lead people is more important than deep engineering specialization.
