About the Role

We are looking for a Vice President of Public & Government Affairs to lead the organization's engagement with government, regulators, and external stakeholders. You will shape policy strategy, manage advocacy and relationships, and protect and advance the company's interests across jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Own the public policy and government affairs strategy and priorities.
• Build and manage relationships with government, regulators, and policymakers.
• Lead advocacy, lobbying, and coalition engagement in line with company goals.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and advise leadership on impact.
• Engage industry associations, community, and external stakeholders.
• Build and lead the public and government affairs function.

Requirements

• 12+ years in government affairs, public policy, or related, with leadership experience.
• Established relationships with government and regulatory stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of the legislative and regulatory landscape.
• Track record leading advocacy and stakeholder campaigns.
• Exceptional communication and executive-representation skills.
• Sound political and reputational judgment.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (JD/MPP) a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Policy relationships relevant to the client's markets.
• Experience across federal, state, and local (or international) levels.
• Experience building coalitions and associations.
• Experience managing reputational and regulatory issues.

Pay

The base salary range for this role is $345,000 to $460,000, with exact placement determined by your skills, years of experience, and interview performance.
