About the role

The Vice President of Philanthropy oversees all philanthropic initiatives, manages partnerships with non-profit organizations, and develops strategies to enhance community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee philanthropic initiatives and partner with non-profit organizations to enhance community engagement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase funding and support for charitable causes.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders including board members, donors, and community leaders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on philanthropic goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., nonprofit management, public relations).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in philanthropy, fundraising, or related field.
  • Proven track record of successful partnership development and community engagement.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience in strategic planning and execution.
  • Knowledge of grant writing and fundraising techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
