Vice President of Operations
Overview
Vice President of Operations Lead operations. Develop leaders. Drive impact. Pacific Retirement Services is seeking an experienced Vice President of Operations to provide strategic operational leadership for a portfolio of PRS communities. This role may be performed remotely; however, candidates must be based in Oregon, California, Washington, or Arizona and be available for frequent travel across the assigned portfolio.
About the role
This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who can balance strategy with execution, build trusted relationships, strengthen operational consistency, and drive results across resident experience, workforce engagement, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and organizational growth.
Pay
$232,000 - $280,000 annually, depending on experience with consideration for geographic location.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Partner closely with the Chief Operating Officer to ensure organizational priorities are consistently executed across assigned communities.
- Coach and support Executive Directors, monitor operational and financial performance, strengthen accountability, and help ensure each community is positioned for long-term success.
- Play an important role in advancing the PRS Mission, Vision, and Core Values while supporting a culture of service excellence, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is required. A master’s degree, Nursing Home Administrator license, and experience with Continuing Care Retirement Communities or Life Plan Communities are preferred.

- Progressive multi-site leadership experience in senior living, healthcare, or a related industry.

Skills

Work location and travel
This role may be based in Oregon, California, Washington, or Arizona. Frequent travel, including overnight travel, is required throughout the assigned portfolio.
