Vice President of Operations
Position Summary
A senior executive leader responsible for the overall performance, growth, and strategic direction of a multi-customer division generating over $150M in annual revenue. This role has full profit and loss (P&L) ownership and leads operations across approximately 10+ facilities with more than 1,000 employees, supporting both domestic and global customers.
Key Responsibilities
Own full P&L responsibility for the division, including revenue growth, cost management, profitability performance, and capital planning.
Develop and execute annual operating plans, budgets, and long-range financial forecasts.
Drive disciplined financial governance, KPI management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure strong controls, compliance, and risk management across all locations.
Lead and optimize end-to-end operations across multiple facilities, ensuring consistency, scalability, and operational excellence.
Establish and drive performance standards related to productivity, quality, safety, delivery, and cost.
Champion continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, operational excellence frameworks).
Partner with functional leaders to align execution with strategy.
Serve as the executive sponsor for key customer accounts, including global and strategic customers.
Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with customer executives and decision-makers.
Lead executive-level customer reviews, contract discussions, and issue resolution.
Drive KPI performance and service delivery excellence across all customers and facilities.
Partner with Sales and Business Development to support growth opportunities within existing and new customer accounts.
Support contract renewals, expansions, and new program launches.
Contribute to corporate strategy development and translate objectives into executable plans.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing leadership team across multiple sites.
Build succession plans and leadership pipelines.
Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Experience: 15+ years of progressive leadership experience, including senior executive or general management roles.
Proven success managing large, multi-site operations with P&L ownership.
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
