Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the CHRO and executive leadership to design and execute regional HR strategies that support UF Health’s strategic priorities, including workforce planning, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
- Drive the integration of HR practices and policies across the region, ensuring consistency, compliance, and alignment with UF Health’s overall objectives.
- Collaborates with regional executive leadership to define the organization’s long-term mission and goals.
- Functions as a strategic business advisor to the senior management of each business unit or specialty group regarding key organizational and management issues.
- Serves as a strategic partner to hospital executives, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to address workforce challenges, including retention, labor market trends, and succession planning.
- Identifies key performance indicators for the organization’s human resource and talent management functions; assesses the organization’s success and market competitiveness based on these metrics.
- Partner with COEs to implement region-specific programs in areas such as total rewards, recruitment, leadership development, and technology enhancements.
- Ensure the effective execution of system-wide HR initiatives, tailoring approaches to meet the unique needs of regional hospitals.
- Provide feedback to COEs to continuously improve processes and programs that impact on the employee experience.
Talent Management and Leadership Development
- Work with the Talent COE to address regional workforce needs, including strategies to attract and retain top healthcare talent.
- Identify and address leadership development needs within the region, ensuring a robust pipeline of future leaders.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field required. Master’s degree is strongly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably within the healthcare sector. Proven experience in strategic planning, talent acquisition, organizational development, and employee engagement at an executive level.
