About the Role
The Vice President of External Affairs will lead Academia Society's external relationships and help expand the organization's network of universities, organizations, nonprofits, professionals, educators, and potential collaborators. This is a founding leadership role with significant opportunity to shape our partnership strategy and external presence.
Responsibilities
- Manage the organization’s relationships with external entities, such as other organizations, universities, or local groups
- Seek out partnerships, sponsorships, and event collaborations
- Supervise the Directors of Communications and Programming
- Represent the organization in joint programs and off-campus initiatives
- Handle outreach communications (emails, proposals, partnership letters)
- Develop annual outreach goals and track engagement metrics
- Assist in coordinating large-scale public events
