Responsibilities

  • Media Relations: Develop and execute a comprehensive earned‑media strategy covering corporate and product news, customer success, executive thought leadership, and proactive storytelling. Build and maintain relationships with business and technology journalists, serve as spokesperson, prepare executives for media engagements, and ensure timely, accurate responses to emerging issues. Establish metrics for coverage quality, message pull‑through, share of voice, and reputation impact.
  • Analyst Relations: Create and run an analyst relations program that showcases Acumatica’s business, product innovation, customer value, and competitive differentiation. Identify priority analysts, manage briefings, inquiries, evaluations, research submissions, and product demos. Partner with Product Marketing, Product Development, and other teams to craft evidence‑based narratives, translate analyst feedback into actionable insights, and develop analyst‑led research and thought leadership.
  • Brand Perception and Awareness: Design communications programs that boost visibility, credibility, and market reputation. Advance executive speaking opportunities, corporate storytelling, awards, external communications assets, and other initiatives that demonstrate customer value and market leadership. Collaborate with Brand, Marketing, and cross‑functional teams to ensure consistent narrative and positioning.
  • Writing and Message Development: Own and evolve Acumatica’s corporate narrative, messaging framework, and priority storylines. Write and edit press releases, thought‑leadership articles, presentations, employee and partner communications, and content for corporate, press, and event pages. Incorporate customer and partner evidence, keep messaging current, and align across leadership, Marketing, Sales, Product, and other teams. Use AI‑enabled tools thoughtfully while maintaining human review, accuracy, confidentiality, and a distinctive Acumatica voice.
  • Executive Communications: Develop communications strategies for senior executives, including speeches, presentations, talking points, thought‑leadership pieces, and executive social content. Provide counsel on messaging, positioning, audience needs, media interactions, and public appearances. Lead content development for key company moments such as Acumatica Summit, all‑company meetings, partner webinars, roadshows, and other executive engagements.
  • Social Media Management: Oversee corporate and executive social‑media strategies to strengthen brand visibility, thought leadership, and audience engagement. Work with agency partners and internal teams to maintain a consistent, timely, and audience‑relevant presence across priority platforms. Leverage channel analytics, social listening, and emerging‑issue monitoring to improve performance and inform broader communications strategies.
  • Editorial and Content Quality Oversight: Lead the editing and writing function to ensure clear, accurate, consistent, and high‑quality communications across channels. Establish editorial standards, review and approval processes, and practical quality controls for both human‑ and AI‑assisted content. Ensure communications reflect the company’s messaging, tone, accessibility standards, and business priorities.
  • Communications Budget Management: Own and manage the budget for public relations, analyst relations, content, social media, and communications programs. Lead annual planning and forecasting, manage agency and vendor relationships, evaluate program effectiveness, and allocate resources to initiatives with the greatest strategic and business impact.

Qualifications

  • Strategic thinker: ability to build messaging and positioning strategy, including key differentiation and value propositions.
  • Results‑oriented self‑starter with excellent multitasking skills; capable of working independently in a fast‑paced, rapidly evolving environment.
  • Strong communicator with superior written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Adaptable with strong project‑management capabilities to drive multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Minimum 15 + years of relevant communications experience; experience in a B2B software company preferred.
  • BS degree or equivalent required.

Pay

Salary range: $240,000 – $260,000 annually (varies by location and other factors). Eligible for additional rewards such as an annual bonus, stock awards, and, where applicable, sales incentives based on revenue or utilization.

Benefits

  • Employer‑paid short‑term and long‑term disability coverage.
  • Basic life insurance coverage.
  • 401(k) plan with company match.
